As a tenant of an Staircase Property, you must:
- Pay the rent on time
- Ensure the property is used for residential purposes only
- Ensure the property is kept clean and tidy
- Inform your property manager of any damages as soon as possible
- Pay for the repairs of any deliberate or careless damages caused by you or your visitors/guests
- Comply with all of the conditions of the Tenancy Agreement
- Pay for all electricity, gas, telephone and water used
- Abide by all Body Corporate rules if applicable
- At the end of the tenancy remove all of your belongings, leave the property in a good state of cleanliness, return all keys, garage door remotes and chattels provided by the landlord
As a tenant of an Staircase Property, you must not:
- Use or allow others to use the property for any unlawful activities
- Interfere with the neighbours' right to quiet enjoyment
- Make any changes to the property without the landlord’s written permission (obtained via your property manager directly)
- Have any pets residing at the property without the landlord’s written permission
- Sublet any part of the house or the house in full
- Damage the property whether deliberately or carelessly. Remedial work or payment for the work is required if not addressed by the time the tenancy ends
